We ask for your patience at this time as we are experiencing an extremely high volume of calls.

We understand that waiting on the phone lines can take a long time, and sometimes people are being bumped to voicemail automatically after waiting on hold to speak to someone. We are currently trying to fix this and you can always contact us via our booking request form below.

Please note that we only perform surgical abortions at this clinic. For medical abortion information please call Willow Clinic at 604-874-9897. To learn about the differences between medical and surgical abortion click here.

Appointments can only be made over the phone. You cannot come to our office to make appointments in person. It usually takes 10 minutes to book an abortion appointment; making appointments for other services does not take long.

Call us at 604-322-6692 between 9:30 and 4 pm Monday to Friday. A phone worker will answer your questions and do the booking. Please be patient as our phone lines are often very busy. We need to speak to you personally because we'll ask some medical questions and give you important information about your visit. You cannot book appointments on behalf of someone else.

ESL - English as a Second Language
If English is not your first language, a friend can help make the call with you. If you need help with English when you come for your appointment, we will get an interpreter for you free of charge. we will ask for a credit card number at the time of booking but we will only charge you a late cancellation fee of $100 if you do not show up for your appointment or if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice. There is no charge if you come to your appointment or if you cancel with 48 hours notice. This fee is to pay for the interpreter's time. We will erase your credit card number when you come for the appointment.

You need to have had a positive pregnancy test before making an abortion appointment. A home test from a drug store kit is okay. You don't need to see a doctor before making an appointment but we strongly encourage you to get your pregnancy confirmed at a walk-in clinic or at your doctor's office. If you do see a doctor about this pregnancy, please call before your procedure with the doctor/clinic name & telephone number or bring this information on the day of your appointment.

We will need to know the first day of your last period. If needed, we will book an ultrasound for you. If you have already had an ultrasound, please let us know the date of the ultrasound, where the ultrasound was done and number of weeks. We will need a copy of the ultrasound report faxed to our clinic.

We will need your MSP Care Card number. (If you do not have MSP coverage, please see our fees page.) We will also need your home address with postal code and the name of the person who will be your emergency contact/companion on the day of your appointment.

If you're not sure of your decision or need information about the abortion procedure or your pregnancy options, we can make a counselling appointment. If you book an appointment for an abortion with us and then change your mind, please call us to cancel your appointment. We have a waiting list of women needing sooner appointments and we appreciate your consideration of their needs.

To contact our clinic call 604-322-6692. Please listen carefully to menu options. If our phone lines are busy, you can always leave a message on our voicemail.
